1. A Ghoulish Graveyard

What good is a ghostly party without a couple tombstones? It takes you back to when you were a kid and the scariest thing you did was running around playing ghosts in the graveyard – actually in the graveyard in October.graveyard3

2. Gobs of Cobwebs

Nothing makes your space feel quite like it could very well be haunted than a bunch of dusty cobwebs strewn throughout the rooms. This particular decorating is a lot of fun, but also a little rough come clean-up time, so be ready to dedicate a little extra time to get all the little strings taken care of.

3. Fake Blood

This will absolutely add the gross-out factor to your party decor this Halloween, but be careful with it. That stuff stains!

4. Devilishly Good Jack-O-Lanterns

It’s Halloween! Of course you have to have a pumpkin or two carved up with a candle glowing from within. You can go with the classic Jack-O-Lantern face, but we challenge you to spice it up a little bit and get a touch spookier with it this year. There are so many patterns you can find online and at craft stores, there’s no excuse  – get creative!

5. Skulls and Skeletons

Having some bony friends around is a classic Halloween party move, and we support it 100%. Not only do they go with pretty much any color scheme (hello, neutral whites!) but they can be dressed up, dirtied up, taken apart, and put back together. They can be used strictly for decoration or as part of a party game. They can be a photo booth prop or a very scary entryway greeter. Having your own Jack Skellington is a great way to bring some undead liveliness to your monster bash!

Are you using any of these Halloween party staples to help take your event to spooky legend status? What are your favorite Halloween party decor pieces? What are you dressing up as this year? We’d love to hear from you!
